About

Our Lewis Longhouse is a contemporary and luxurious home on the east coast of the Isle of Lewis, a short walk to the beach in an area of peaceful, natural beauty. With uninterrupted views, we think this is a special place to escape and relax.

The house blends in low on the hillside with wide, uninterrupted views to watch the world go by and weather change constantly under big skies. Soak up the views over rare reeds beds to the beach, catch stunning sunrises over the water or sunsets over the moors.

This low-impact home is a modern take on traditional Lewis houses, with stylish design and energy-conscious technology to make your stay a pleasure, fully equipped to the highest standard with all you need for a perfect stay.

Inside the House

Make the most of the spacious, double–height kitchen/dining area with cosy living space, two large bedrooms, two bathrooms and a quiet chillout zone area upstairs with pop-out wow balcony and study space.

The kitchen is well stocked for foodies, with induction hob, ovens, wine chillers and fridge, cookery books to inspire, oh and a dishwasher to make tidying up a little easier. Underfloor heating keeps oak floors warm underfoot and a multi-fuel stove keeps you cosy even in the wildest weather. South and west-facing floor-to-ceiling windows bringing the outside in and sliding doors open onto a wraparound deck with views of the moor and sea.

Bedrooms make the most of these same southerly views. The master suite with superking bed and hypnos mattress, has a wet-room ensuite. The second bedroom (superking/twin) sits opposite the main bathroom with relaxing bath and separate shower.
