About

No.29 is a luxurious and spacious holiday home resting in the idyllic hamlet of Skigersta (Sgiogarstaigh), on the Isle of Lewis.

This traditional-style croft house which has been lovingly refurbished with solid oak doors, underfloor heating, and generous social rooms, making for an ideal escape for families or friends.

On arrival, find private off-road parking for up to four cars, with handy EV charging.

Pass the garden, where you are sure to spend plenty of time enjoying the far-reaching sea views while the designated chef can cook up a barbecue dinner and the children play.

Step inside to discover a living/dining room, with a wood burning stove to create an inviting ambience and supplement the already-excellent underfloor heating, perfect for relaxing in the evenings, The spacious open plan, well equipped kitchen includes a comfortable seating area too.

These rooms both have full-height ceilings, giving the home even more of a spacious feel, as well as patio doors leading outside.

As you grow tired, choose from three bedrooms across the ground and first floors; a super-king-size master bedroom, a ground-floor king-size, and a twin provide flexible arrangements for your party.

Freshen up in the family shower room, home to a power shower for rinsing off after a day at the beach, or indulge in a soak in the freestanding bath, located in the second bathroom.

Finishing off the property is a mezzanine area above the kitchen, should you need a ‘work-cation’ it can be used as a study, a cloakroom for extra convenience, and a utility, for keeping your clothes and towels fresh!

When you’re ready to explore, head to the picturesque Port Of Ness, where you can spend the day at the sandy beach, swim in the sea, discover Anthony Barber’s art at the local art shop, or visit the café for lunch; you can also stock up on the essentials at the village shop!

For a family-friendly day out, make your way to Eoropie (Eòrapaidh) Beach, which is popular with windsurfers and has huge sand dunes and a children’s play-park to keep the little ones entertained.

Venture even more north to the Butt of Lewis Lighthouse for a cultural day in this scenic area, or closer to your home-from-home, the Tolsta walk starts just quarter of a mile from No.29. A luxurious home in an unbeatable area of Scotland, choose No.29.
