Walk Waypoints

1. 1 Walk north up the road until the old road bears off left at the radio mast below Gormul Màraig (NB195069). After 200m, take the footpath that leads north-west to Lochan Cleit Ard (NB184083).

   Continue along the path passing a third unnamed lochan, then strike off right up the firmer ground of Cleit Ard’s north-west ridge. The ground becomes rockier with height, but is never difficult. The summit itself is marked by a cairn.

   When you are ready to leave, drop down the north-west ridge, regain the path and head back south to the A859. Alternatively pick your way down the south ridge to make the best of the views.
