This is a great walk, which is well worth a full day out with a picnic lunch on the amazing silver sand beach and then finishing with cake and a cup of tea at the café at the Kildonan Museum.
Walk Waypoints
- 1 Start at Kildonan Museum. Turn right on to main toad.
- 2 Turn left through the village of Kildonan.
- 3 Turn left and follow the machair track.
- 4 Turn left along the track leading to the village of Milton (Gearraidh Bhailteas)
- 5 Turn left on to the main road.
- 6 Turn left up to Flora MacDonald'd Birthplace and then return to the main road.
- 7 Turn right into Kildonan Museum and the end of the walk.
