About

A short climb up to the dun from the roadside provdes a superb vantage point to view a large part of the west side of Barra
To access the dun, park at Cuier cemetery, and go through the farm gate opposite, follow the painted posts marking the path up the hillside to the Dun

Photographers Tip

Photographs taken from here looking out towards the Atlantic west coast of the island are best taken early in the day. The inclusion of the remains of the walls of the dun in the images produces a very pleasing picture.
