“We are an oasis of good food, warmth, art and cheeriness”
We are a gallery and coffee shop based in Balallan. Look for the Black and White signs for the Island Arts Gallery and Snacks and Tigh na Bruaich B&B. We are ¼ mile from the ‘Welcome to Baile Ailein’ sign, at the Stornoway end of village and 2 ½ mile from the Tarbet end. We are the ‘perfect half-way point’ and a welcome break for cyclists and any tourist who wants to appreciate art and crafts or enjoy a pot of tea and home-made scones.
We sell original and affordable paintings by Debbie Cullis who is a Professional Associate Member of the Society of All Artists also Paul Smith, her partner. We sell our own artists’ prints and a small range of other local artists’ work as well as published and hand-made cards with unique craftwork
made by Debbie.
Debbie accepts pet or animal commissions. She can also provide personal individual or small group painting tuition.
