The Isle of Barra Beach Hotel
Our accommodation is your must have holiday choice for so many reasons - we are on the West side - the best side and close to Castlebay/ferry arrival or on the bus route from the airport (bus stop right outside the hotel).
Spectacular sea and sunset views - a location that offers you a real get away from towns and cities experience.
Our direct beach access location provides nature in the wild - where you can relax with your toes in the sand or just sit and watch for sightings in/around Halaman Bay of dolphins, otters, gannets, oyster catchers and many other coastal bird species.
Beach: We wrap round and look directly over Tangasdale beach/Halaman Bay with direct access to the beach and our rock pool that some guests use as our swimming pool when the tide is out.
There is NO ROAD between your bedroom and the beach/sea when you stay with us - no traffic noise - just the sound of nature and the Atlantic waves.
Cooked breakfast options included in our tariff served from 08.00 until 09.30.
Evening meal options locally sourced for you to order and enjoy served from 18.00 until 20.00.
Once all your dining and accommodation needs secured you can relax, experience our spectacular view and sunsets while you enjoy a dram or dine after your perfect Hebridean day.
Internet: Wifi in all guest rooms /reception areas.
Self Contained Private Entrance Bolthole Cabin (non sea view): Large, open-planned and self-contained family facility sleeping 6. The cabin is only a stone throw from the beach and rock pool. Minimum 2 night stay applies. Rate: £400.00 per night sleeps 2 adults and 4 children.
All Our Hotel Rooms Are Sea View or Sea Facing Rooms - so you can fall asleep with the sound of the North Atlantic rolling waves - all our guest room facilities have twins or super king beds with private bathrooms with baths.
Overnight Bike Storage For Our Guests - We can offer you to store your bike storage overnight in our stable.
Dog Friendly Hotel - We can allocate you a room with your dog close to the beach door for those fun beach walks together. £25.00 per dog per night.
