Taigh Nandag is a delightful cottage on the west coast of the Isle of Lewis. Accommodation comprises three bedrooms; utility room; shower room; spacious living room with wood burning stove and a well appointed kitchen. The kitchen enjoys sea views over Bhaltos beach and the living room's large picture window affords generous views over the sea to neighbouring islands. It is the perfect place for nature watching, walking, watersports, fishing, enjoying sandy beaches or just relaxing in peaceful surroundings. The house is perfect for anyone who enjoys wild and scenic places to be enjoyed from a cosy home. The bed arrangements are two comfy double beds and a bunk bed. The shower room with underfloor heating is perfect for having a hot shower after a wild swim. The kitchen includes a breadmaker, toaster, microwave, double oven, hob and of course the all important kettle to enjoy a cuppa while looking out over the view. otters, corncrakes and sea eagles have been spotted from the kitchen window so don't forget your binoculars.
The beach is a two minute walk and is perfect for sandcastles, beachcombing and watersports. The local shop is about 10 minutes in the car at Timsgarry where the renowned Uig Sands restaurant looks out over the amazing beach. Don't miss the local museum too, which explains the land which is steeped in history and local custom.
