A warm and friendly welcome awaits you at Cnoc Nan Uan with tea/coffee and cake.

Our location on the west side of North Uist is renowned for its stunning sandy beaches which are within walking distance.

The world-renowned Balranald Nature Reserve is only a mile and a half away.

We are perfectly positioned for the keen birdwatcher. From May – late July corncrakes can be heard and seen around our property.

The area is rich in birdlife including sea eagles, golden eagles, short eared owls and many more. Otters can also be seen on nearby coastlines and lochs.

The self-catering apartment within our home offers sleeping accommodation consisting of one double room with full ensuite facilities and a twin room with adjacent private bathroom.

The bedrooms are comfortable and relaxing. There is a Freeview TV/DVD and hairdryer in each bedroom.

Our guest kitchen/lounge is very well equipped. Facilities consist of kettle, toaster, microwave, cooker, washing machine, clothes horse, iron and ironing board,

fridge /freezer and TV/DVD. There is a clothesline for outdoor drying.AnchorAnchor

Tea, coffee and biscuits are always available in the kitchen.

Entrance to the guest apartment is through the front porch. There is a toilet and shower in the front porch.

Free Wi Fi is available and there is ample room for parking.

Your host is a fluent Gaelic speaker and used to teach Gaelic to school children.

Arrival time is from 4 pm and departure time 10 am.
