Public toilet facilities are provided for the use of visitors across the Outer Hebrides, while there are a number of locations in the Western Isles for the emptying of portable toilets from caravans and campers.

Details of where motorhome and caravan toilets may be safely emptied in the Western Isles (portable toilet disposal points in the Outer Hebrides) are also listed here. Please ensure that you use the designated facilities for chemical toilets provided and do use not public toilets. Please note that some campsites will let you use their facilities to dispose of portable toilet waste for a small charge.
