About
Are you searching for natural, rugged beauty, breathtaking landscapes, stunning white sandy beaches, and a break that offers peace and tranquility? The Isle of Harris is the perfect location for your next break. Finsbay Lodges are in an area ideal for hiking, fishing, hill climbing, bird watching or just getting absorbed into Island life and culture.
The lodges can be used as a base for exploring Harris, Lewis and further afield. The lodges are situated on the South East coast of the Isle of Harris overlooking the beautiful Loch Finsbay. The lodges are ideal for a family holiday or going away with friends - solid timber luxury lodges, which all sleep six people, and have superb facilities and spectacular views of the Harris hills and surrounding lochs. Each lodge is equipped with a fully fitted kitchen, living room, bathroom, and various bedrooms. One of our lodges also boasts a conservatory with spectacular views, and a highly sought after sauna. Other guest facilities include internet connection, cosy underfloor heating, ample parking, garden furniture to enjoy the beautiful island surroundings, and our Arran Lodge is dog friendly.
The Finsbay, Flodabay and Stockinish fishings are an excellent Salmon and Sea Trout fishery in the spectacular rivers and lochs of South Harris, Outer Hebrides. There are three river systems and fishing on around 100 lochs, all linked to the sea and with fishing rights. Our 5-year average is 33 sea trout, 168 brown trout and even the occasional salmon. However, we are category 3, so all salmon must be returned.
Please do check availability on our website or do give us a call on 0779 524 4997 to discuss your dates and requirements. We look forward to hearing from you – you will love the Isle of Harris!
