Enjoy a fabulous self-catering holiday at the luxurious Beach House on the Hebridean Isle of Harris. This Visit Scotland 5 star accommodation is just feet from the famous Seilebost beach with direct private access to the shore. An ideal base for that Hebridean Holiday.
This beautifully furnished and fully equipped holiday home has uninterrupted views of Luskentyre, the island of Taransay and the North Harris Hills and offers the most spectacular scenery.
Inside there are two king bedrooms and a twin bedroom providing spacious accommodation for 6 people. The house is fully equipped with efficient ground source heat pump and log burning stove for providing cosy accommodation in the colder months. A full Sky TV package, DVDs, games and books are provided for when the weather demands.
A highlight of the house includes the large bright lounge with patio doors opening onto the expansive two-tier timber deck overlooking the beach. There are simply breath-taking sunsets as you sit outside on the deck, favourite refreshment in hand.
The Beach House is an ideal base for an island adventure or just a place to relax, unwind and watch the tide turn and the sun set in one of the most beautiful settings in the World.
For the energetic, nearby there is an abundance of west coast beaches from Luskentyre to Seilebost, Horgabost, Nisabost, Borve and Scarista. At the Beach House we provide kayaks and equipment. With access just yards from the beach, there is a wide expanse of water at high tide for safe paddling. Less than 10 minutes drive away is the Isle of Harris Golf Club, recognised as one of the most picturesque 9 hole courses to be found anywhere. The Hebridean Way passes close by and takes in the “Coffin Road” at Seilebost made famous by the Peter May novel of the same name.
At Nisabost, just 5 minutes drive away is Talla Na Mara, the heart of the West Harris Community. As well as Talla na Mara Restaurant (seasonal opening), you will find regular events and art exhibitions.
