About

Located in a central location, our hook-ups offer the ideal base for exploring all Harris has to offer.

Seilebost School hook-ups are an ideal base for your holiday in West Harris. The site is located within the old primary school grounds, with views across the machair and just a few minutes’ walk from Seilebost beach which offers views to Luskentyre beach and the North Harris mountains beyond.
Talla na Mara is a new community venue in the heart of West Harris, and includes 3 small pitches with electrical hook-ups at the edge of the grounds of the centre. The pitches are a short walk from Niseaboist beach and Macleod’s standing stone, with stunning views across the Sound of Taransay.
Pairc Niseaboist opened in 2020, providing a further 7 pitches with electrical hook-up. Perfectly located to allow full use of the facilities available at Talla Na Mara, our 7 new pitches boast stunning views across the Sound of Taransay., the idyllic Niseaboist beach and Macleod’s standing stone are only a few minutes’ walk away.

For further information on available facilities or to book, please visit website.
Camping Spots
We also have 6 camping spots (see image of map for locations), offering fantastic views across a number of locations in West Harris. We have identified these sites in order to protect the roadside from erosion, whilst providing a safe place to stop for the night.

Our camping spots are offered on a first come, first served basis and are suitable for those with their own sanitary facilities only as no facilities are provided. Campers are asked to consider making a small donation of £5 to the West Harris Trust, with all earnings reinvested into community projects.

Public chemical waste disposal units are available at Huisinish and Urgha.
