The Calanais Visitors Centre site is completely closed to the public as it undergoes exciting redevelopment. We apologise that there will be no facilities available until we reopen as a much improved facility in 2026.
Urras nan Tursachan (the Standing Stones Trust) set up the Calanais Visitor Centre, and it was first opened to the public 30 June 1995. Thank you for your patience while the redevelopment is in progress. We will be posting updates on the redevelopment on our website www.calanais.org and on facebook www.facebook.com/CalanaisStandingStones.
