Our Hebridean Welcome

Island businesses and organisations who welcome visitors are invited to sign up to a new Customer Service Training programme developed in collaboration between Stornoway Port and Outer Hebrides Tourism.

Our Hebrides Welcome has been re-launched (the original was launched in 2015) and is a free resource consisting of five short modules covering customer knowledge, service excellence, local area information, culture and Gaelic.

Developed by Mapal OS who specialise in performance-enhancing hospitality management systems, the training is delivered digitally and easy to complete online: via a computer or mobile device.  Free to everyone in the islands who works with guests, customers and visitors, the programme will be of particular benefit to those working across hospitality and retail.
