Tigh na Mara gallery shop in South Uist is an wonderful eclectic mix of fine art, handmade craft items, antiques goods and quirky gifts that capture the essence of these beautiful islands.

The gallery features work by local artists Amanda Rae and Mairi Thomson.  The fine art paintings, sculptures and assemblages by Amanda reflect concern for environmental issues and climate change and Mairi Thomson, The Arty Hebridean makes a variety of fine art paintings, images and handmade crafts that are inspired by the Outer Herbides.
