Uist Wool operates a small Mill & Wool Centre on the island of Grimsay, North Uist. Provenance is the foundation to our story. Wool is selected with care and processed at the Mill using custom built heritage machinery that allows Uist Wool to retain the prime characteristics of the fleece and create bespoke yarns in natural colours and blends that capture the essence of the Hebrides.
Visitors are able to view the production area of the Mill from the Wool Centre and our staff are on hand to answer any questions about Uist Wool. Although limited opening hours will operate for the remainder of 2020 please contact Uist Wool directly if you wish to make an appointment for a special visit.
