About
Borrodale grew from the old doctor’s house and surgery. It first opened its doors as a hotel in 1978 and has been welcoming and attending to its guests and visitors since. The majority of guests return year after year.
The original stone walls remain within the building, housing our dining room which offers mainly local produce varying from lamb which graze in the heather clad hills, our own Highland Cattle which are reared within the village and of course Shellfish and local catches feature daily.
The lively lounge bar offers a large selection of malt whiskies and Wines. The bar menu covers most tastes and budgets. But if you want to just sit in peace and relax, why don’t you retire to the cosy Snug.
We serve breakfast, Coffees, Teas and Fresh Home Baking in the Conservatory which looks over the Golf Course and Machair land. Watch the Short Eared Owl hunt over the fields or the Impressive Herron fish between the 2 neighbouring lochs.
