We're Logan Home - a hebridean self-catering apartment located in Stornoway on the Isle of Lewis, situated only five minutes walking distance from Stornoway's town centre.
We began operating in 2022 and were awarded the BOOKING.COM TRAVELLER REVIEW AWARD - WINNER FOR 2023, based on an Exceptional Score from our guest reviews. In addition, we are also approved by our local authority as a Scottish Short-Term Let Licence operator.
Logan Home is the perfect base for your hebridean vacation, get-away or work trip - and there is so much to explore within easy walking distance, including the Lews Castle and its magnificent grounds, the picturesque Stornoway harbour and boutique shops, and for those looking to explore further on foot, the Iolaire Monument.
On arrival, our guests are provided with a small welcome pack to help get started. We also provide all the basics to help make our guests stay as comfortable as possible, including superfast WiFi - and we even include an emergency care pack, for those unexpected issues or forgotten items.
The stylish open plan living room and kitchen offers comfortable seating, flatscreen 4K HDR LED smart tv , cozy gas fire, and dining area. Our fully fitted and well-stocked kitchen comprises washer/dryer, wall mounted double oven, hob, dishwasher, and frost-free fridge freezer.
We appreciate how getting a great night's sleep is so important, which is why our guests sleep on a king size bed with Inofia memory foam sprung mattress with hypoallergenic bounceback pillows, 5* luxury deluxe supersoft duvet and Egyptian cotton sheets.
Plus, to help you look your most fabulous , a 15 LED vanity mirror with 3 colour lights and Bluetooth is located at our vanity corner alongside the TreSemme hairdryer, with a full length mirror on our drawer carousel.
We also offer an outdoor patio area with picnic bench seating, for those wanting to relax outdoors. Free on-street parking is available on our doorstep.
If not arriving by car, a car-less based visit is an option where guests can utilise the local bus or taxi services.
Alternatively, guests may prefer to hire a car locally (advised to be booked well in advance) to visit the Callanish Stones, Gearrannan blackhouse village, or if travelling further afield to our beautiful beaches at Uig, Tolsta, Luskentyre, Seilebost or Horgabost... or to watch the spectacular Northern Lights, visit the Isle of Harris Distillery, or explore the Eat Drink Hebrides Trail. There is just so much to explore on our islands!
