About

Corn Bunting are often found in Marram Grass on the landward edge of the dunes. They are often heard singing on fine days using prominent perches along fence lines or old farm machinery. They can be found throughout the year although the spring and summer months are best. In winter search cattle feeding areas for small flocks. They are overall buff brown, with heavy-ish bill, dumpy body, fly with legs dangled down and their song sounds like jangling keys.

Either head north or south from the bridge near the river mouth.
