Igot2travel offer wildlife watching, cultural & history, walking, fishing and inter-island day trips with a local Gaelic speaking guide. Specially tailored personal tours across the Outer Hebrides, introduce you to the magic of the islands.
A small locally run business igot2travel provides a quality experience created from a lifelong passion and knowledge of the local environment, our history, culture and wildlife. Whatever your passion to experience the great outdoors then let us be your guide to these beautiful islands. We run day trips from our base in North Uist throughout the Uists and Barra and across to the Isle of Harris. We can of course create tailored tours so just drop us an email.
Our tours can include, walking, wildlife watching, fishing, photography, island hopping, archaeology, the Gaelic language, crofting and the incredible flora and fauna of these special islands. Each place we visit will introduce you to the world of an island, its pristine environment and of course, the endless powder-white beaches, so beautiful they take your breath away. You will experience these islands through the eyes of your local guide James Macletchie. James is passionate about these islands and has spent all of his life wandering across them from early childhood. Over the years he has featured in many TV Programs, including "Monty Halls Great Hebridean Escape", Paul Murton's "Grand Tours of Scottish Islands" and recently on BBC ALBA "An Geamhradh' which focused on his photographic work across the islands.
Whatever you want to discover from the hidden gems within these islands, why not join us at www.igot2travel.com for day trips or extended breaks across the whole of the Outer Hebrides. Our day trips run with a minimum of two travellers and our extended packages have a maximum number of six passengers. This gives you the opportunity to meet like-minded travellers and to experience the Outer Hebrides in a small group that has minimal impact on the environment.
