About

There are spectacular views of the north Harris mountains here. A good path starts from Miabhag and runs for 17 miles through the mountains to Boglass on the Tarbet to Stornoway road.
A picture taken at one of the many small lochans early or late in the day in spring and autumn produces a very pleasing result, especially if the mountains are used as a backdrop.

Photographers Tip

Winter or early spring provides a good chance of snow on the hilltops
