Ivor Murray Mackay is a local Hebridean artist and has lived on Lewis his entire life.He gained an honours degree in Drawing and Painting in 1991 from Edinburgh College of Art .He has artwork in many private collections worldwide and has been working as an artist for 40 years.
Inspired by the constant changing moods and seasons of the Outer Hebrides ,his themes include seascapes,beaches,Boats ,old crofthouses and village scenes.Dereliction also interests him.
He works from his studio home in Upper Coll on the North East side of the island,five miles out of Stornoway on the Tolsta road. He is open by appointment all year round and will give you directions when contacting him. Goods for sale here include original artwork,mounted prints,calendars and a wide range of greetings cards. You are very welcome to visit. Nearby are beautiful sandy beaches for a refreshing walk after your visit .A local shop is nearby also.
Toilet facilities are available at Ivor's home.Sadly the premises are not suitable for wheelchair access.Parking is available.

Guide price from £2.85 for a greetings card,£35 for a mounted print and £12 for a calendar. Prices for original paintings may range from £150 to £850 for the largest.
