About

This bespoke retreat was built to share the natural beauty and peace of the Outer Hebrides with guests. The design being inspired from early croft house forms and stone enclosures to provide shelter.

We offer two cottages each sleeping four guests. They can be booked individually with privacy considered in their design or booked for a group of up to eight people. We also welcome your four-legged friend in one of the cottages. Before arrival we can provide local information to suit your requirements. On arrival we provide an array of island produce to tempt your tastebuds. Both cottages are fitted out to a high standard and provide everything you may need.

Ideally positioned on the Isle Benbecula, the cottages provide the perfect base for exploring the length of the islands from Berneray to Eriskay. The nearest white sandy beach lies at the end of the road to the west and open moorlands to the east. A walk to the top of the croft affords views as far as Harris to the north, Skye to the east and Barra to the south. Bring your camera.

The family croft is often home to deer, owls, eagles and hen harriers to name a few. You may even have a visit from a roaming sheep called Frank. Our chickens are on duty to lay fresh eggs for our guests and in spring we have lambs on our neighbouring croft. There is always something on the move.

The cottages are due to be ready for guests by spring so follow us on Facebook or Instagram for the latest updates.  Please do not hesitate to contact us should you require further information.
