About

A track leads from Hushinish northwards then eastwards for approx 2 miles across the lower slopes of Huiseabhal Beag to a isolated bothy at Crabhadail.
Wonderful images across the Sound to Scarp, the Atlantic, and the Uig hills in Lewis are obtained from this path. Choose early morning light for best results.
Sensible footwear, map, and inclement weather gear is essential as conditions can change very rapidly.

Photographers Tip

From the highest point of Grescleit just to the north of the track you can capture a superb image looking east down to Crabhadail and the Loch in evening light May to September.
