Ralph Tonge is a photographer, based on the Isle of Lewis, and he is inspired by the landscape and people of the Outer Hebrides to create photographic frozen moments. He is primarily a landscape photographer, but also enjoys Portraits, Events, Live Music, Night Sky and Product Photography. For starters, you can follow Ralph on social media and be regularly reminded of the beauty of the Outer Hebrides, and then you’ll want to order Calendars, Prints, Gifts, or maybe you want a special print of your favourite spot in the Outer Hebrides.
Ralph welcomes commissions and if you have something special in mind, just get in touch with him and he’ll let you know next steps. If you want a portrait of you and your pet, loved one, family, or all the above, just get in touch to book a session – these are usually outdoors, so are weather permitting of course. Maybe you want to explore your own photographic skills alongside a professional photographer who is familiar with the challenges and opportunities of the Outer Hebrides, if so, get in touch with Ralph to book a bespoke photographic tour – he’ll build the tour around your needs and he has the real knowledge of a photographer based on the island – the secret beaches, the best view points (not the ones everyone else uses!). He’ll talk technique as well as composition and technology, but will also support you if you just want to get some magic from your phone!
Every year he publishes a Calendar which you can buy directly from him, or you can buy from selected shops on Lewis. There are other photographers in the Outer Hebrides of course, but there is only one Ralph, so please do check out his website and follow on social media to find out more.
